Entry protocol
For general measure
- Before travelling to Panama, all travellers must submit their completed Electronic Health Affidavit (in physical or digital form) to their airline or carrier. This form can be accessed via this link. https://www.panamadigital.gob.pa/RegistroPacoViajero
For vaccinated travellers
- Vaccinated travellers are allowed to enter Panama without a negative test result, but they must present digital proof of vaccination for at least two doses authorized by EMA, WHO, or FDA within 14 days.
For unvaccinated travellers
- Non-vaccinated travellers or those with fewer than 2 doses will be required to provide a negative test result before entering Panama within 72 hours.
- If a test is not performed within 72 hours, a COVID-19 rapid test will be required at the airport, with the traveller responsible for the charges (USD $50).
- If their test is positive, the traveller will be quarantined at hotel for an obligatory 14-day period. The traveller must pay the full cost of the stay.
For children
- If accompanied by an adult, any children or travellers under the age of 17 will not be required to display a negative COVID-19 test or vaccination record when reaching Panama.
