Certificate adoption

The PAK COVID-19 pass app acts as a digital COVID passport where vaccinated individuals can store and display their vaccination certificates. It’s accessible to both Pakistani nationals and foreign residents. These passports with a unique QR code are mandatory for boarding flights and trains.

• Nationality

• Status of vaccination (including date of vaccination, vaccine or prophylaxis, name of health center, and vaccine manufacturer & batch No.)

Entry protocol

For general measure 

Effective December 6, 2021, Only fully vaccinated travellers of age 18 years and above will be allowed to undertake Domestic/International travel on Inbound/Outbound travel to/from Pakistan.  

Document requirements 

• Provision of information through the PASS TRACK app is also mandatory for all passengers traveling to Pakistan. They have to download and install the PASS TRACK app  and enter their personal details as required. 
• Travellers should ensure that they have uploaded their information on the app or have a printed copy of uploaded information generated by the app prior to the issuance of boarding passes at the point of original embarkation. 
• Following travellers shall be exempted from both RT-PCR testing and PASS TRACK app uploading requirement: 
  • Children below 6 years 
  • Disabled passengers 
  • High–level international delegations 
• Travellers traveling to Pakistan from any country will be required to present an RT-PCR test before commencement of travel, conducted within the 48 hours prior to commencement of travel to Pakistan. 

Quarantine 

All arriving travellers of age 6 years and above will be tested through Rapid Antigen Testing upon arrival in Pakistan.
Any and all travellers producing a positive Rapid Antigen Test upon arrival will be quarantined at self –paid / Govt. facility for 10 days and a PCR test will be conducted on day 8 of such Quarantine.
