Document requirements
As from 15 Feb 2022,
Pre departure test:
All travellers arriving to Lebanon, must hold PCR negative test result from one of the certified laboratories by local authorities, negative PCR test result validity must not exceed 48 hours between the sampling date and boarding the flight from country of origin.
OR
COVID-19 Rapid Antigen test including QR code latest 24 hrs. between the sampling date and boarding the plane from the country of origin.
Exemptions:
- children under the age of 12 years
- Travellers who travelled out of Lebanon and will return within one week ( travelled during one day of the week and will return on the same day during the following week).
- Fully vaccinated travellers who have received 2nd or 3rd dose or one complete dose of vaccine (which is formed of one dose only) of any COVID-19 vaccine since a period not exceeding 6 months and must upload certificates or official documents on the platform in order to obtain MOPH PASS then shall undergo PCR test upon arrival to Lebanon.
PCR upon arrival to BRHIA:
All arriving travellers, except children under the age of 12 years and UNIFIL, must pay 30$ in advance (before boarding the flight) by a credit card in USD or LBP ( Credit or Debit card). Payment shall be done exclusively through this link in order to obtain MOPH PASS that allows them to board the flight to Beirut and to perform a PCR test upon arrival at BRHIA (Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport). Travellers who performed PCR test upon arrival at BRHIA must remain at home until they receive test result within 24 hrs. via SMS and an electronic copy of result. If the PCR result was positive, the travellers must contact immediately the COVID-19 hotline 1787 at the Ministry of Public Health.
Quarantine
Fully vaccinated travellers are not required to present a pre-arrival test and are exempt from quarantine.
