Entry protocol
Passengers need a COVID-19 test to enter and exit, and the test has to be done within 72 hours before travel. Anyone without a COVID-19 test within the 72 hour timeframe will not be allowed to board their flight. Inter-island travel requires a form to be filled out prior. The Ministry of Health may require individuals exposed to a COVID-19 case or those displaying symptoms to self-quarantine. Should you be required to self-isolate at home, it is advisable to ensure you maintain at least a two–week supply of food, water, and any essential medicines.

Pfizer BionNTech and AStraZeneca made by the Serum Institute of India. They received a first COVAX shipment of AstraZeneca Oxford
Border status
Open. You will need a COVID-19 RT PCR nasal swab test or an antigen test (Ag-RDT) to enter Cape Verde. The test has to be done in the last 72 hours before travel. If you do not present a COVID-19 test done in the last 72 hours, you will not be allowed to board your flight. Children under 7 do not need to present a COVID-19 test.
