Entry protocol

Travelers going to and from Maldives must fill in a Traveller Health Declaration (THD) within 24 hours prior to entry and from leaving the country.

Individuals who will visit the country as tourists must have a confirmed booking at a registered tourist facility during their entire stay.

For details and exceptions, travelers are required to present a negative result of PCR taken 96 hours before departure from the first embarkation point to Maldives.

AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria and Covishield), Gamaleya, Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer/BioNTech, Sinopharm-BIBP

Border status

Temporary suspension of tourists from South East Asian countries as of 13th May – healthcare professionals with valid work permits are exempt, but require a PCR negative result with a sample taken 96 hours prior to their departure to the Maldives and must undergo home quarantine for 14 days.
